Which part of the mushroom is in your cup?

The mushroom (fruiting body) — the part you actually eat, and the part people have eaten for hundreds of years. Buy a mushroom at the store, and this is what you bring home.
The roots (mycelium) — fine white threads that spread through the wood or soil a mushroom grows on. The mushroom sprouts from them, and they stay behind when it's picked.
The grain (substrate) — oats or rice. It's what the mushroom is grown in, instead of soil. Some mushroom powders are made by growing the roots through this grain, then drying and grinding the whole thing, roots and grain together.

Ours is the mushroom itself. No roots, no grain. It's the part people have always eaten, and the part with the longest record in human studies. That's why it's the only part we use.

How much caffeine is in it?

Very little. Cacao carries a small amount of its own — a fraction of a cup of coffee. No added caffeine.

How do I get the samples?

Your first order of $60 or more comes with single-cup samples of all four lattes. Taste them before you open a bag.

What if it's not for me?

Taste the samples first. If it's not for you, send the unopened bags back within 30 days for a full refund — we cover the return shipping.

Do I need milk?

No. Coconut milk is already in the blend, so hot or cold water works. Use milk if you want it creamier.

How do I make it?

Add 1 tbsp (9 g) to 5 fl oz of water, hot or cold, or 6 fl oz of your favorite milk. Stir until smooth and creamy. Prefer it lighter? Add a little more water or milk.
